About Atelier Nous
Atelier Nous is a project that aims to bring us back together—with our feelings, our imagination, and a bit of distance from our phones. Through hands-on workshops, we create a space where time can slow down and even disappear for a while. A space to be present, to make, to imagine, and to connect.
It’s about rediscovering something familiar—like when we were kids and could spend hours reading, playing outside, or just being with friends without noticing time pass.
Our workshops are centered around working with our hands: collaging, making jewellery, crafting beaded flowers, or working with ceramics.
The founder of Atelier Nous is Helene Wittek. She is the founder of a mental health NGO with an academic background in psychology and education.
"I never felt like a talented person artistically. So I always thought creative stuff isn't for me. But a few years ago I started doing crafty things with friends and loved it. We painted ceramics, put together collages and played with air dry clay. In these moments all the anxious thoughts and my to-do list faded away. I was truly present and afterwards I felt rejuvinated. With Atelier Nous I want to create a space for this experience."
